Before using Trumpia, Jack's Surfboards could only capture customer data by requesting email addresses at the point-of-sale. Each time they had an event, Jack's sent out an Evite to their email list - which involved some level of data entry each time. So the retailer found it difficult to manage their opt-in list and track response rates. With multiple stores, Jack's needed a better way to target their message. They wanted to filter and segment customers according to which store they usually visited and whether or not they lived locally or out-of-town.
